Wedding Photography at The River Mill, Derby

The River Mill Derby

The River Mill Derby is brought to you by the same folks as The West Mill wedding venue. Housed in the same mill complex, The River Mill is perfect for smaller weddings. A trendy and flexible space that you can host your whole day in.

I love the intimacy of the River Mill. I’ve known this building for a while, before the pandemic it was a cafe, and being just down the road from my house, was a regular favourite. Now a days it hosts weddings for for up to 60 guests, so its perfect if you’re looking for industrial chic on a smaller scale. This venue is super stylish with a great range of decor and props such as neon signs and a bathtub for your booze included.

The team at The River Mill are very welcoming and can lay the room out for your ceremony and reception in any way you want. There’s a small dressing room and plenty of room for dancing. The cobbled area outside has a quaint country vibe whilst also benefitting from being so close to the city. The venue has an outdoor area right next to the river with seating and fire pits. It’s a perfect space for balmy summer evenings.

You can find out more about The River Mill by visiting their website here.

If you’re getting married at the River Mill and are looking for a photogapher I’d love to have a chat to see if I’d be a good fit you. Check out some of my images from real weddings below and drop me a line if you like what you see.
