Wedding Photography at Heathland Grove

Heathland Grove

Heathland Grove is a purpose-built wedding and events venue that suits all styles of wedding. With years of experience in the sector, the team that set this venue up really knew what’s needed for a great space to host a wedding.

If you visit the Heathland Grove website you’ll see lots of images of grand and stunning Asian weddings that I would give my right arm to photograph. The space lends itself to styling on an elaborate scale with a marble bar and massive chandeliers it has some grand infrastructure but also some big white walls that are crying out for you to put your own stamp on.

The wedding I shot there was pretty far removed from the ones shown on the website. It was colourful, homemade and super relaxed. Never-the-less, the space was perfect for it. The couple got married outdoors in the gardens and had their reception in the grand ballroom. Both spaces were decorated with vibrant homemade decorations that really set the tone for a fun and chilled out party.

The venue is right next to the canal at Findern near Burton On Trent so there are some lovely photo opportunities both in the grounds and over the canal for a more outdoorsy feel. With a charming bridge and the towpath it’s perfect for natural walking shots.

You can find out more about Heathland Grove by visiting their website here.

If you’re getting married at the Heathland Grove and are looking for a photographer I’d love to have a chat to see if I’d be a good fit you. Check out some of my images from real weddings below and drop me a line if you like what you see.
