Wedding Photography at Morley Hayes

Morley Hayes

Just a short journey from the centre of Derby, Morley Hayes has lots of great indoor and outdoor spaces for all aspects of your wedding day.

With a large hotel, three restaurants, gardens, bars and a choice of three outdoor ceremony spaces, you’re spoilt for choice at Morley Hayes. Starting life as a dairy farm this large hotel and golf complex has some charming rooms which have been converted from the old farm buildings. In the images below you can see an indoor ceremony in the Granary Loft and the same space turned around for the wedding breakfast. Also pictured is an outdoor ceremony in front of the wedding dome. You can also marry in their meadow, the woodland lodge or the Mill Room. I’ve covered receptions in their rose garden and in the old stables bar which has more of a relaxed marquee feel for smaller gatherings. The gardens around the barns offer lots of opportunities for group shots and for your portraits without having to walk miles or stray to far from your guests.

Living ten minutes down the road from this venue, the variety it offers and the helpful staff there, puts it in the list as one of my favourite local venues.

You can find out more about Morley Hayes by visiting their website here.

If you’re getting married at the Morley Hayes and are looking for a photographer I’d love to have a chat to see if I’d be a good fit you. Check out some of my images from real weddings below and drop me a line if you like what you see.
