Alternative industrial wedding styled shoot

Museum of Making, Derby

"If you'll believe in me, I'll believe in you. Is that a bargain?"

The industrial setting of Derby’s Museum of Making made the perfect backdrop for this alternative wedding shoot. Embracing the tones and textures found in the architecture in the styling and outfits gave a cohesive look to the whole event.

Our models, Amber and Alex looked absolutely stunning in their unconventional wedding attire, tied together with autumnal florals. Picturing them on the large staircase leading to the suspended Rolls Royce Trent engine made their dramatic looks even more eye catching.

Every real wedding has elements of the couples’ personality brought into the styling and ceremony. Celebrant Leni Robson brought a twist of Steampunk to a personalised service, and the signage and stationery had a tattoo theme.

I absolutley love photographing the non-traditional and this shoot had so many elements that stepped away from convention and embraced the bespoke. This shoot was about doing your wedding your way.
